176: Everything but the Kitchen Stink

Kitchen sink drain easy to clean

The GOAT of sink strainers. Find one at your local kitchen supply store!

If you’ve got a mystery smell in your kitchen — and you know it’s not your Smelly Cat — one of the quickest places to check is the food trap at the bottom of the sink. But at what cost? There is not a lot that’s more vile, gross, and YUCKYYYYY than the kitchen sink trap — but at least the silicone ones make it a little easier? Especially if you’re a CERTIFIED GENIUS like Andrew who ALREADY BOUGHT A BACKUP!?!?!

Who knew that we were in the presence of such brilliance as this?

In other news, does your neighborhood or city have a program for picking up trash? It took me two seconds to find the one in Seattle — read more about it here — and of course, there’s the Adopt One Block program that I love so dearly. What about your town? Will they send you a litter-getter?

What are those yellow garbage bags all over Seattle?

Listen to today’s episode to hear about how Andrew has been cursed by a rogue toilet — and hear me uncover my secret desire to smash stuff, apparently.

You can also watch on the pod because we’re back in our respective cities. My mom is, of course, very happy about this development. Make sure you follow us on YouTube!!! And tell your friends!

Finally, here are some of the products we talked about today. We don’t get paid for any of this, we just like you to know about stuff we like.

As always, we love to hear from you. Send us a voice memo or an email or whatever else you want.
