82: The Doomsday Closet
We’re back for another year! Of! Cleaning? Content?
Honestly, not so much this show. While there is VERY important content about Andrew’s BIG PROJECT that he did MOSTLY OK, we cover a lot of other topics, like eggs and how to cook them. Which, by the way, is like this.
We also discussed ice and Andrew’s two (2) ice-related gifts. Which is really how you know people love you! When they get you gifts that are relevant to your interests!
Speaking of relevance, we did actually talk about SOME cleaning stuff that is relevant to our, you know, whole thing. Don’t believe us? Listen here:
We got a listener who called in about mopping the ceilings and walls of a sterile laboratory setting, so I went ahead and Googled some information about this process.
For example, these environments — called, appropriately, “cleanrooms” — have very specific protocol depending on the use of the room.
Here’s a paragraph I found that describes the purpose:
“The focus of any protocol program is to protect the integrity of the cleanroom and the products and processes in the cleanroom from the people working in the cleanroom. Whereas contamination may be due to the product, processes, or equipment in the clean-room, the people working in the cleanroom exercise the greatest control over the cause of and elimination of contamination. Therefore, all protocol programs address the functionality of the cleanroom, the behavior of the people working in the cleanroom, and the cleaning and maintenance of the cleanroom.”
I also found some images of cleanroom cleaning to give us a mental picture. We still have so many unanswered questions, though.
Also, here’s a question: What do you leave in an Airbnb? Cleaning supplies? Condiments? How safe is opened ketchup in the time of COVID?
Wow, yeah, we really ended this episode with more questions than answers. Whelp, I guess that’s probably our 2022 energy as much as anything!
